Crusaders, All Blacks receive good news on Jordan's knee injury
Crusaders and All Blacks outside back Will Jordan has been diagnosed with a medial ligament knee strain but is expected to return to Super Rugby this season.
Jordan suffered the injury during the Crusaders 35-19 defeat to the Chiefs in Christchurch.
A statement from the Crusaders this morning said: "The Crusaders' medical team are unable to determine his return-to-play time frame at this stage; they are gathering more information and will have an update later this week.
"However, initial indications are he will return to play before the end of the Super Rugby Pacific competition."
The diagnosis will be met with relief by Crusaders head coach Rob Penney and his All Blacks counterpart Scott Robertson.
Fullback Jordan is a key attacking weapon for both teams but has had a heavy workload for the Crusaders this year - he has played in all 11 matches.
The Crusaders, third on the Super Rugby Pacific table behind the Chiefs and Brumbies, have three regular season matches left as they look towards the playoffs after missing out last year.

The Crusaders were steamrolled after the break in Christchurch but there may be a silver lining as they look ahead to the playoffs.
