Bus destroyed by fire in Auckland suburb of Epsom

A busy Auckland road is closed after a bus caught fire this evening.

Fire and Emergency said it was called to the corner of The Drive and Empire Road at 6.10pm and found the bus ablaze.

The fire has been extinguished, but crews are still monitoring the bus and have closed parts of the road.

No injuries have been reported.

A fire investigator is at the scene to try and determine what caused the fire.
